Findlay Park co-founder steps back from £7bn US fund

To remain at firm as partner

Charles Park, co-founder of US boutique asset manager Findlay Park, is stepping back from his fund management responsibilities, but will remain as partner at the firm.

Park co-founded the firm with James Findlay in 1998 and is deputy chief investment officer, as well as fund manager on the widely held £7bn Findlay Park American fund. He has co-managed the popular vehicle with Findlay since launch in 1998, but the investment team has expanded to nine members since then; the fund was closed to new investors in 2012. Findlay Park adds unhedged share classes to popular funds Park will remain a partner at the firm and has also been appointed as adviser to the investment committee.
