Henderson hires second EM manager from Stewart Investors

Deane joins former colleague Finegan

Henderson Global Investors has hired another emerging markets manager from Stewart Investors, with Stephen Deane joining as senior portfolio manager to work alongside team head Glen Finegan.

Henderson hired Finegan (pictured) from Stewart Investors, (previously known as First State Stewart) in November 2014, to take over the global emerging markets equities franchise based in the UK. Joining Finegan in Henderson's Edinburgh office, Deane will assist in the management of the £176m Global Emerging Markets fund. Deane spent five years at Stewart Investors, where he was an analyst and co-manager of the Worldwide Equity funds. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at Accenture.
