Kames' Milburn to remain on leave until H2 2016

Kames Capital's Phil Milburn is expected to come back to work in the second half of 2016, following an extended period of leave due to ill health.

The manager (pictured) of the firm's four fixed income funds announced in September he was temporarily taking leave from his duties and handing his funds to co-managers in the meantime. Milburn is recovering from post viral fatigue syndrome, which follows a bout of glandular fever ten years ago, and was originally expected to remain off duty until early 2016. The group said the manager has been making a steady recovery and is expected to return to work on a phased basis during the second half of this year, slightly later than originally expected.
