Man GLG has appointed Guillermo Ossés as head of emerging market debt strategies, based in New York.

Ossés joins the firm from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he has worked since 2011, leading the firm's emerging markets fixed income capabilities and managing over $20bn in assets. In his new role he will report to Man GLG's co-CEO Teun Johnston. Ossés has 24 years of experience in emerging markets fixed income investing, having also worked as an EM fixed income portfolio manager at PIMCO and held emerging markets positions at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
