Hargreaves Lansdown founder Stephen Lansdown has become a partner at private equity firm Edge Investments and taken a stake in the business.
Lansdown (pictured), who has in the past invested in a number of Edge's funds, is also taking a 10% stake in the firm and will work alongside David Glick, its founder and chief executive. Last week Edge announced the launch of its £40m Edge Creative Enterprise fund, its largest fundraising to date, with backing from the British Business Bank. The firm is now evaluating a number of business in creative industries with a view to start allocating money from the fund in 2016.
