Kames launches EM bond fund

Kames Capital has extended its fixed income range with the launch of an Emerging Market Bond fund.

Scott Fleming (pictured) will be the fund's lead manager, while Alex Pelteshki will serve as support manager. It will invest mainly in the investment grade debt of EM sovereigns and corporates, primarily through hard currency. The managers will allocate a minimum of 80% of the fund to emerging market bonds, and a minimum of 80% in investment grade bonds, with the aim of outperforming the JPM Emerging Market Bond Index Global Diversified IG.
