Barings poaches Schroders' Jagger for UK distribution role

Baring Asset Management has hired Simon Jagger from Schroders, where he worked for 19 years, as head of UK wholesale distribution.

Jagger (pictured) will join the team in January 2016 and report to Rod Aldridge, head of EMEA wholesale distribution. He has worked in a variety of senior sales roles in both London and Asia for Schroders since 1996.  He has been responsible for developing the regional sales business, heading up the broker liaison team and more recently, developing the firm's new distribution channels. At Barings, he will lead the UK wholesale distribution team and aim to grow the firm's key relationships.
