Sarah Emly, co-manager on a number of J.P. Morgan Asset Management funds and trusts, including the £271m JPM UK Managed Equity fund, is taking a leave of absence due to ill health.

Emly (pictured), who has been at the firm for two decades, is taking a leave of absense from all the funds and trusts she co-manages with immediate effect. She co-runs the JPM UK Managed Equity fund with James Illsley, as well as the £161m JPM UK Equity & Bond Income fund with Illsley and Talib Sheikh in the open-ended space.
