HSBC launches Global Multi-Asset Income fund

HSBC Global Asset Management has added a new multi-asset income fund to its Luxembourg-domiciled fund range.

The HSBC GIF Global Multi-Asset Income fund will be diversified across a range of asset classes, including emerging market debt, global high yield bonds, infrastructure, and listed real estate securities. At launch, the fund is expected to generate a gross yield of 4%. It will be managed by the same team which runs the £337m World Selection Income Portfolio. The fund is the latest addition to the group's multi-asset range, following the launch of three risk-rated portfolios as part of a newly-created retirement range.
