Allfunds recruits UK head following Mohan exit

Platform group Allfunds Bank has hired Simon Shapland to head up its UK and Ireland business, following the departure of UK managing director Stephen Mohan.

Shapland joins Allfunds from RBC Investors and Treasury Services, where he was managing director for UK and the Middle East. Mohan exited the firm earlier this year, less than two years after being poached from his role as head of operations Cofunds in October 2013. In his new role, Shapland will lead Allfunds' London office, now administering over £15bn of assets, and report to deputy general manager Gianluca Renzini.
