Charles Stanley man joins Waverton for business role

Charles Stanley's William Tong has joined Waverton Investment Management's managed funds team as business development manager.

Tong will work alongside Mark Barrington, the marketing director of the managed fund service team, to develop relationships with financial advisers across the UK. At Charles Stanley, Tong was most recently responsible for intermediary sales in London. He joined the firm in 2011, when it acquired his previous employer Evercore. John Bellamy, head of the managed funds service, said: "We are delighted that William has joined Waverton.
