BlackRock's Young joins Aviva Investors UK equities team

Aviva Investors has hired Simon Young from BlackRock as a UK equities fund manager.

He will be based in group's London office, reporting to Trevor Green, head of UK equities. In this new role, Young (pictured) will work on the group's institutional UK Equity fund and assist on the £992m retail UK Equity Income fund. At BlackRock, Young was UK equities fund manager, managing over £1bn in core UK equity and income mandates for a range of institutional, charity, and fiduciary clients.
