Ex-Thames River trio to join Liontrust

Former F&C Thames River managers Kristof Bulkai, Patrick Cadell and Hugo Rogers are to join Liontrust Asset Management to run global portfolios.

The trio ran the long/short Directional Opportunities and Water & Agriculture funds at F&C, and will run similar products at Liontrust. Bulkai (pictured) was previously a fund manager at Griffin Capital and an analyst at Goldman Sachs, while Rogers previously worked at Copenhagen Capital and Odey Asset Management. Both joined Thames River in 2008, while Cadell joined separately from Nevsky Capital.
