Former BlueCrest manager Emrah Kagitcibasi has joined Pictet Asset Management's London office as part of its emerging market debt (EMD) team.
Kagitcibasi joins the asset manager as a senior investment manager in its London EMD team, having previously spent seven years at emerging market hedge fund Rohatyn Group specialising in EMEA hard and local currency. His roles prior to that include a spell at BlueCrest Capital covering emerging markets, as well as trading positions at Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan. He will report to Simon Lue-Fong, head of EMD at Pictet AM.
