Henderson's Hillenbrand targets EM push after Gartmore blip

Henderson's Simon Hillenbrand has said the group is looking to emerging markets and global equity income as key areas of focus for its five-year growth strategy.

Having spent the early part of the decade integrating its New Star and Gartmore purchases, Henderson has been attracting stronger fund flows more recently. The group reported £7.1bn in net inflows in 2014, up from £2.5bn the year before, as assets under management topped £80bn for the first time.
