Investec's Nelson to replace George as head of commodities

Investec Asset Management's Bradley George is leaving his role as head of commodities and resources to take up a senior position with the group in the US.

He will become managing director of the North America client group with effect from 1 April 2015. As a result, Tom Nelson, manager of the group's global energy strategies, is taking over the head of commodities and resources role and will join George Cheveley as co-manager of the £107m Investec Enhanced Natural Resources, £172m Global Natural Resources, and Global Commodities & Resources funds.
