Syz AM brings absolute return funds to UK retail market

Swiss fund group Syz Asset Management is bringing its institutional absolute return strategy to UK investors through its Oyster Absolute Return fund range.

The group has merged its Luxembourg-domiciled Absolute Return institutional funds with the existing UK-registered Oyster Absolute Return funds. The move follows the launch of retail RDR share classes on six of the group's most popular products last year in an effort to make them more attractive to UK investors. The institutional strategy follows a conservative investment approach, investing in investment grade bonds and a small proportion of equities, with no short positions and limited exposure to alternatives.
