Dart Capital boosts AUM by 55% with IFA acquisition

Boutique wealth manager Dart Capital has acquired IFA Waterson Jones, adding £150m to its total asset base.

Dart, which manages £270m on behalf of 275 clients, has acquired Waterson Jones from its founder Martin Jones. Waterson Jones, which was established in 2002 and once owned by Bestinvest, provides wealth management services to 100 clients with invested assets of £150m. The two firms' 21 staff will combine to manage and advise on the £420m total across two offices. Jones said, "Dart Capital is successful, well-resourced and ideally placed to support clients of Waterson Jones."
