Ex-Brewin research head Butcher launches wealth and fund consultancy

Former Brewin Dolphin head of research Matthew Butcher has joined forces with ex-Argonaut COO Edward James and former colleague Matthew Collis to launch a consultancy firm for wealth managers and fund groups.

Butcher (pictured), James and ex-Brewin execution-only head Collis have launched SilverHill Consulting today (22 January) to provide project management and consulting services to the industry. SilverHill Consulting will offer a range of services and programmes, ranging from product development from fund groups to advice on corporate strategy. Butcher left Brewin Dolphin at the end of 2013 but returned to the industry last year as an investment director at Dart Capital. He will continue to work with Dart alongside his new role.
