'Impartial' fund ratings service launches in UK

South-African firm Fundhouse has launched a fund ratings service for UK financial advisers, offering what it says are wholly unbiased and impartial comments on well-known funds.

The group was founded in 2007 by Peter Foster and Rory Maguire, who both formerly worked at South African boutique asset manager RECM. Although there are already several well-established fund ratings services in the UK, the pair have launched their Fundhouse service to the UK and European market with the aim of providing research that is completely independent of fund groups.
