Economist Nouriel Roubini, nicknamed 'Dr Doom' for his bearish views, has shared nine challenges facing the eurozone in 2015 and beyond.

1) Rise of extreme political parties The history of extreme parties in Germany and Russia gives cause for concern if Eurosceptic extremist parties come to power. Roubini (pictured) highlights Marine Le Pen's National Front party in France as an example of how fringe players can come to the forefront in national elections and the danger they pose.  2) Europe's ageing population The old-age dependency ratio in Europe - the ratio of those aged over 65 to those under that age, is forecast to rise from 28% to 58% by 2060, according to the economist.
