Ex-Barclays director joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management

Former Barclays Wealth director Yolande Escher has joined BNY Mellon's wealth management business.

In her role as wealth director for Europe, Escher will be responsible for sales and business development across the continent. She will be part of the international wealth management business under the supervision of Jeroen Kwist. The role has been newly created as part of a global strategy, announced in 2013 by BNY Mellon Wealth Management CEO Larry Hughes, to expand the business development team by 50% by the first quarter of this year.
