Former Towry chief Fisher joins wealth manager's advisory board

Andrew Fisher, the former chief executive of restricted national advice business Towry, has been appointed to wealth manager Davy Private Clients' advisory board.

Fisher spent a decade at Towry - including eight as CEO - before leaving in April, following a spell as chief executive of Coutts & Company. Davy Private Clients is the wealth management division of acquisitive group J&E Davy, and its Business Advisory Board is responsible for assessing expansion options. Towry was an active and regular acquirer under Fisher's leadership, though one deal eventually became the subject of a High Court case.
