Hargreaves hires Mirabaud's Clayton as equity research head

Hargreaves Lansdown has hired Steve Clayton, partner at Mirabaud Securities, as head of equity research.

The move follows the launch of a new equity research arm at Hargreaves in March, as revealed by Investment Week. The group said it planned to build an equity research team from scratch, having previously only provided general information and news updates on individual UK shares, rather than recommendations.
