Syz Asset Management opens new Edinburgh office

Syz Asset Management, the group behind the Oyster funds range, is opening an office in Edinburgh in a further sign of its commitment to the UK.

The Edinburgh office has a dual purpose: asset management and promotion of the group's institutional strategies, available through segregated mandates and its Oyster and Syz AM fund range. Claire Manson, manager of the Oyster European Mid & Small Cap fund, and an analyst will comprise the local asset management team. The sales activity will be led by Derek Borthwick, who joined the group in April this year as business development director for Scotland, the North of England and Northern Ireland.
