Jupiter's Ehrmann and Langridge to join Manulife AM

Jupiter's Philip Ehrmann and Kathryn Langridge are to join Manulife Asset Management at the start of next year, Investment Week understands.

The emerging markets managers are understood to be joining the global asset management arm of Canada's Manulife Financial to run developing market portfolios. It follows yesterday's announcement that the pair will depart Jupiter at the end of this year. Ehrmann's £160m Jupiter China fund has returned 30% over the three years to 30 October compared with an average 22.8% for the IMA China sector, according to FE.
