You may see some scary sights this Halloween night, but none as terrifying as these global economic statistics.

M&G's Bond Vigilantes have put together five scary charts guaranteed to make your hair stand on end, which they have labelled 'not for the fainthearted'. 1. Eurozone bad debt is 9% of GDP The results of the Asset Quality Review and stress test of European banks released last week revealed 25 banks failed one or the other. Although the news did not come as a surprise, the results also showed bad debts as recalculated by the European Banking Authority skyrocketed by 18.3% to €879.1bn, in other words almost 9% of eurozone GDP.
