SLI launches global index-linked bond fund

Standard Life Investments (SLI) has added a short duration global bond fund to its fixed income range.

The Short Duration Global Index-Linked Bond fund is managed by Jonathan Gibbs (pictured), head of real returns at the group, and Adam Skerry, an investment director on the real returns team. The fund invests in nominal government bonds, corporate bonds and derivative instruments, with the managers hedging non-sterling assets back into sterling.
