Invesco Perpetual boosts Barnett's team with Aviva manager hire

Aviva Investors' Robin West has joined Invesco Perpetual's UK equity desk as the company bolsters its team following recent departures.

West, who had responsibility for portfolios including the Aviva Investors UK Smaller Companies and UK Growth funds, will join as a fund manager in the Invesco Perpetual UK small cap team on 8 July. He previously worked at Invesco - with current head of UK equities Mark Barnett (pictured) - between 1995 and 2002. The company has also hired Tim Marshall as a senior investment analyst for its UK equities team. Marshall's previous role was at Redburn, where he was a transport analyst and partner.
