Pictet launches absolute return bond fund

Pictet Asset Management has launched an absolute return bond fund to be managed by co-head of global and regional bonds Andres Sanchez Balcazar.

Balcazar will be supported by a team of three investment managers in the management of the Pictet Absolute Return Fixed Income fund, which launched on 12 December. The fund has a flexible and benchmark-unconstrained approach and will seek to diversify across rates, spreads and FX. It may invest across all fixed income sectors in both developed and emerging markets. It targets an annual return of 3-4% over cash, gross of fees.
