Schroders head of property steps down

Schroders' head of property investment William Hill is to step down after 25 years, handing his responsibilities to Duncan Owen.

Hill will become a property adviser to the business, which has £10.5bn of property assets under management, while Owen assumes the head of property role with immediate effect. Owen joined Schroders at the start of 2012 from Invista, where he was chief executive officer. He was previously a director at LaSalle Investment Management and a partner at Jones Lang Wootton.
