Richard Romer-Lee and Nigel Whittingham have revealed details of their new consultancy business, nearly a year after the pair left Morningstar OBSR.
Set to officially open in January 2014, Square Mile Investment Research and Consulting will target three groups of clients – advisers, wholesale, and asset managers. The business will include a fund ratings service and the team will also help clients put together investment propositions and model portfolios. Romer-Lee (pictured) was a founding member of OBSR and became managing director of Morningstar’s investment consulting operations in Europe, after Morningstar acquired OBSR in 2010.
