Morningstar reveals ten most popular ETFs in Q2

Morningstar has revealed the ten most popular exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the second quarter of 2013, based on the most searched for funds on its website.

The most popular investment themes between April and June were developed markets equity and gold, with the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Gold Shares Trust topping the list. Bonds and emerging markets were the most under-represented asset classes in the list, reflecting investors' worries about the risks of investing in emerging market equities and concerns about bond market liquidity, Morningstar said.
