Pru with-profits manager Brookes exits group

Martin Brookes, one of the named managers running Prudential's huge with-profits fund, has left the firm after more than a decade.

Brookes, a founder member of Portfolio Management Group which runs the company's vast life and pensions book, joined Pru 27 years ago. He has been running the group's £68.7bn with-profits fund alongside the rest of the team for the last 13 years. His role will be taken over by Matthew Williams (pictured), a fellow director who has also worked at the group for over two decades.
