Polar Cap global launch reunites Holliman with ex-Baillie Gifford duo

Investment boutique Polar Capital has hired two managers to launch a global equity fund in the company's first foray into the sector.

Andy MacKirdy, who previously worked for Lansdowne Partners, and Christophe Williams from Liberties Investments, will run Polar's global equity offering, which is set to be lauched in the autumn. The product will target institutional investors but also be open to global and private banks, private wealth managers and stockbrokers, multi-managers and family offices.
