BlackRock has poached seven emerging market debt managers from BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
The chief investment officer of emerging market fixed income at BNP Paribas, Sergio Trigo Paz, will become the new head of BlackRock's existing emerging market debt team, Investment Week understands. BlackRock's EMD team manages approximately £2.6bn in assets and is headed up by Imran Hussain (pictured), and supported by portfolio manager Daniel Shaykevich.
