Barclays Capital has launched an onshore version of its RADAR fund, as first revealed by Investment Week last December.
As reported last year, the RADAR fund will mirror the investment strategy of the group's Irish-domiciled UCITS fund, run by the co-managers of the offshore portfolio - Jason Smith and Ian Mizrahi.
The fund will reflect the highest conviction views of the Barclays Capital Fund Solutions research team.
The onshore RADAR fund will seek to provide positive returns in all market conditions, investing across a broad range of asset classes.
Both managers will specialise in global equity market indices, government bonds, commodities and currencies.
Nathan Bance, director of UK investor solutions, said the group has brought the fund to the UK market to satisfy demand.
"The offshore RADAR fund has built a strong track record amid some of the most challenging market conditions in recent years," said Bance.
"This is testament to both the strength of the investment ideas produced by Barclays Capital Research and the expertise of the BCFS investment team behind the fund."
