Schroders strengthens multi-asset team

Ian Maybury has joined Schroders in the newly created role of head of solutions management in its multi-asset and portfolio solutions group.

Maybury previously worked at Redington as co-head of asset liability management and investment strategy.

Before that he was at Citigroup, where he specialised in insurance and pension asset liability management and capital management. He is also a trustee of several pension schemes.

Maybury is set to join Schroders in April.

The multi-asset and portfolio solutions group is part of Schroders multi-asset and portfolio solutions business led by Nico Marais.

Marais said: "Our clients are increasingly asking for customised portfolio solutions that cover the full spectrum ranging from multi-asset offerings including hedge fund solutions to risk-mitigation strategies such as LDI and downside risk management.
