Artemis has hired former M&G fund manager Rosanna Burcheri to run its newly launched Global Select fund alongside Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth.
Burcheri will join the firm on 3 October from FrontPoint Management, where she was a partner and pan-European fund manager.
Burcheri previously worked at Paribas Asset Management, M&G, and the Shell pension fund over the course of a 14-year fund management career.
The hire completes a global equity team that was formed earlier this year with the hire of Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth from Taube Hodson Stonex and Mirabaud respectively.
Illingworth (pictured) had been director of global equity at Insight before moving from Mirabaud to Artemis to launch the Global Select fund with Edelsten in June.
"Rosanna's appointment, our sixth to the investment team this year, continues our strategy of growth and diversification. I am delighted that we are able to attract fund managers of Rosanna's calibre", said Artemis senior partner Mark Tyndall.
