Pursglove and Wagstaff will not join Henderson

Gartmore's Richard Pursglove and Phil Wagstaff will not be joining Henderson as part of the takeover deal.

Henderson confirmed Pursglove, former head of UK retail at Gartmore, and Wagstaff - who headed up global distribution - would not be moving to the group. The future of the pair has been uncertain since the takeover was first revealed last year. Henderson already has a full complement of staff, with Mark Skinner head of European retail and Simon Hillenbrand director of UK retail. Henderson has taken on two UK sales managers from Gartmore, hiring Richard Turner and Matt Frost.
