Former Santander multi-manager Keith Speck has joined RSM Tenon Financial Management.
He will be involved in developing the group's discretionary management process, running model portfolios and managing a number of bespoke ultra high net worth client relationships.
He will report to Adrian Gough, head of investment management.
Speck will be instrumental in helping RSM Tenon grow assets in its discretionary proposition to £500m by the end of the calendar year, the group says.
John White, managing director of financial management, says: "We are committed to developing our discretionary proposition and need a strong team to do this.
"Keith's appointment strengthens the team and his knowledge and enthusiasm will help us achieve our aspirations."
LVAM's Tom Caddick has now stepped into Speck's former role as head of multi-manager at Santander Asset Management.
