NEWS - CAUTIOUS MANAGED
T. Bailey has promoted assistant manager Elliot Farley to head up its £36m Cautious Managed fund.
Previously lead managed by CIO Jason Britton, the vehicle will also be renamed the Dynamic Cautious Managed Fund from 1 October 2010, subject to unitholder approval.
The new name is designed to differentiate it from the firm's newly launched T. Bailey Defensive Cautious Managed fund. Also managed by Farley, it now has £10m in assets under management.
"Over the past year, Elliot has been instrumental in refining and improving the investment process on which our established and new cautious funds are built - using sophisticated, cutting edge multi-asset analysis and modelling," says Britton.
"The benefits have shown in recent performance and, while these funds are different, Elliot's promotion to lead manager of both highlights the consistency in investment philosophy behind them.
"Multi-asset investing has become a popular strategy for advisers and their clients and these funds demonstrate our commitment to this area," he adds.

re-brand
I am always amazed how fund companies - change manager of underperforming funds - change the name - and say look at my shiny new fund.
Multi Asset and cautious returns are not T. Bailey 's strong point ....so far
