Allianz RCM’s has reorganised its sustainability team including appointing a new manager to its EcoTrends fund.
Fund manager Bozena Jankowska has been promoted to global head of sustainability research.
As a result, she has been replaced as lead manager of the EcoTrends fund by Vipin Ahuja.
Ahuja joined RCM in November 2009 from Credit Suisse Asset Management where he ran the Future Energy and Global Energy funds. He was also co-manager of the Global Resources fund.
Jankowska had been running the €300m (£256m) EcoTrends Sicav since its launch in 2006 as well as the £17m Oeic which was set up in 2008.
Nick Smith, a managing director at Allianz Global Investors Europe, says: "In recognition of the increasing importance of sustainability research, Bozena Jankowska has been appointed global head of sustainability research for RCM.
"With Jankowska's new role and responsibilities, day to day management for the Allianz RCM Global EcoTrends fund will move to Vipin Ahuja from 1 July."
