Oliver Kelton has taken over as manager of the Waverton European fund as former manager Katrina Norris focuses on other parts of the business.

Norris began running the fund in January 2007 and has worked on European equities at JO Hambro Investment Management (Johim) since October 2006. She will now run mandates for private clients and charities.

Kelton, who also runs the firm's Pepin fund, a European hedge fund, took over the helm of the European vehicle during Norris's maternity leave so was the natural person to take over the portfolio, says the firm.

He joined Johim in 2001 and has run Pepin since May 2007.
