Investment Week has relaunched its online fund Research Centre, using a new comparison tool produced in conjunction with FundsLibrary.
The tool goes live today, allowing users to compare and contrast historical data drawn from the quantitative performance of over 3,000 funds, as well as pooling analysis from a selection of qualitative ratings.
The FundsLibrary research centre combines portfolio and standing data, performance, provider documents and independent research, enabling users to access all the information and documentation they need in a single location.
Advisers can compare performance, searching funds by management group or IMA sector. Data can also be filtered by fund type, sorting results by commonly used terms not covered by IMA sectors, such as ‘ethical', ‘multi-manager' or ‘BRIC'.
Qualitative performance data is provided for each fund over three months, six months and one, three and five years. While analysis from OBSR, Morningstar and FundsLibrary's own simplified prospectuses supports the data.
Links are also available to the fund management companies' own fund-specific literature.
FundsLibrary was launched in 2004 by Hargreaves Lansdown.
