J O Hambro Capital Management has recruited Emery Brewer and Ivo St. Kovachev to launch its Global Emerging Markets fund.
Brewer previously managed the Driehaus Capital Management' $575m Emerging Markets Growth fund, while St. Kovachev spent 10 years working at Driehaus, where he co-managed the $365m Driehaus International Discovery fund.

He also worked with Brewer in the management of the Driehaus' Emerging Markets Growth and was lead manager of the Driehaus European Opportunities fund.
JOHCM group chief executive Gavin Rochussen says adding significant emerging markets experience has been a goal for the firm for some time given the increasing role of EMs in asset allocation.
"After an exhaustive search process, we are delighted to have found a team which fits well with our ethos and culture," Rochussen adds.
"Our new fund managers, Emery and Ivo, both have a wealth of experience in the industry and specifically global emerging markets.
"Emery has a differentiated style compared with other managers in the asset class and takes a bottom up approach with an overlay of country and sector considerations. We are delighted to welcome them to our growing team."
