LVAM appoints Hillier as CIO

Piers Hillier has joined LV= Asset Management as chief investment officer.

Hillier, former head of investment at West LB Mellon Asset Management and managing director at Deutsche Asset Management, will work with LVAM's existing investment teams to enhance their combined investment focus.

He will report to LVAM managing director Ann Roughead.

She says: "We are very pleased to welcome Piers to our expanding business and look forward to drawing on his skills and experience to galvanise our existing investment expertise to help take our business forward."
