PSigma Investment Management has promoted Balanced Managed Fund of Funds manager Tom Becket to its CIO position.

Currently head of global investment strategy, Becket joined PSigma nearly six years ago and is also responsible for PSigma's Wealth Management Solutions strategies and unit trust selection process.

Following Becket's promotion, investment director Tim Gregory will assume the role of head of global equities.

"We are delighted to announce Tom's appointment to CIO. Since joining PSigma his input has proved invaluable especially in developing our investment process and Wealth Management Solutions strategies," PSigma IM managing director John Howard-Smith says.

"Reaching £1bn of assets under management must be testament to our client service culture and focus on absolute returns. Our philosophy is straightforward; we are dedicated to delivering personalised investment solutions to suit clients' unique and changing financial objectives."
