Cazenove hires SIPP talent from Rathbones

Cazenove Capital Management has appointed Simon Cooper to help build the SIPP part of its wealth management division.

Cooper was previously the head of UK intermediary sales for retail funds at Rathbone Investment Management. Mary-Anne Daly, Cazenove's head of private wealth management, says Cazenove is looking to develop its SIPP business. At Cazenove, Cooper will manage relationships with both SIPP providers and IFAs. David Holloway, head of marketing for Rathbone's unit trust group, said Cooper left during 2008. The firm's sales team had been reorganised since then and staff recruited to fill any gaps.
