Former Rathbone High Income fund manager Hugh Yarrow will manage Wise Investment's new Evenlode Income vehicle.
Evenlode Income will be a high-conviction portfolio of 20 to 30 stocks, with no sector or market cap constraints. Sitting in the IMA UK Equity Income sector, the managers forecast a 4.3% yield for the first full year starting 1 March. Yarrow, who was also the assistant manager on the Rathbone Income fund, joined Wise Investment after leaving Rathbones in March this year. He will be assisted by Wise Investment analyst Ben Peters.
